Our guests at The Dulaig know how passionate we are about providing great breakfasts.
I have just made the latest batch of our own muesli, and here it is.
This variety is full of plump and gorgeous fruits, Scottish cereals, nuts, dates, crunchy seeds....and the special finishing touch is a scattering of delicious pecans, oven-roasted in maple syrup. It is delicious, and even better served with our home-made yogurt.
Anyone fancy breakfast at The Dulaig??????
We are delighted to say that The Dulaig is a finalist in the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards 2014. We are in the category "Most Hospitable B&B/Guesthouse"!
The winner will be announced at the final on 7 November but to us reaching the finals is an award in itself!
We have no idea who nominated us, but a great big "thank you" from us to that person. We will raise a nice dram to you, and to all of our guests, this evening.
This photo was sent to us by Elaine of Alun about to tuck into his breakfast at The Dulaig this morning. She entitled the picture "Not just any eggs.....Carol & Gordon's menagerie of eggs"!
Thanks, Elaine and Alun.....and warmest congratulations from us for your 30th wedding anniversary tomorrow!
We have had lots of lovely weather this summer at The Dulaig, but even in the rain there are plenty of things to see in our garden.
We have over 60 rose bushes here -how beautiful is this Queen of Sweden rose after a shower?
