In the few months since we built it the pond has already attracted a wide variety of birds including grey wagtails and a heron.

On 4 January 2011 we were lucky to see the partial solar eclipse, the first solar eclipse in the UK since 1999.
The winter sun rises later  in Grantown-on-Spey than in most of the UK so the eclipse was well underway as  the sun came up over the nearby Cromdale Hills.

Congratulations to Emma and Gordon who were married  on 4 December 2010.
We were thrilled to welcome the new bride and groom to stay with us at The Dulaig on  their wedding day. 
The couple live in Grantown and  were married in the town on the tenth anniversary of their first kiss!
