Spring has sprung at The Dulaig and our garden is full of newly-fledged birds, like this little blackbird being fed by its very attentive father. This wonderful image was captured by Elaine Rees who, along with her husband Alun, is a regular guest at The Dulaig. Thanks Elaine!

Our vegetable garden and fruit patch are growning well in 2009. The gooseberries - shown above - will be a key ingredient in tasty jam, the potatoes will soon be harvested and used to make great tattie scones, and the strawberries…mmmm!

This mother duck has been bringing her new brood to visit us at The Dulaig. The family has returned several times and clearly enjoy eating, relaxing and walking round our garden ….just like our guests!

Our Black Rock hens have arrived

Meet our six hens – Buttercup, Daisy, Bluebell, Rose, Iris and Heather. They have settled in very well and are happily laying beautiful brown eggs for breakfast.
